Since 1932
Hotel Zagreb first opened its doors in 1932, founded by Vincenzo (Vice) Squiccimarro, whose family arrived in Dubrovnik from Italy. Built between 1930 and 1931 as a family hotel in Lapad, Hotel Zagreb quickly became known for its beautiful position and Mediterranean charm.
Designed in the spirit of its era, the hotel combined elegant terraces, restrained ornamentation, and architecture thoughtfully integrated into its garden surroundings.
